Placement: The device is placed over the circuit breaker toggle (the switch).

Securing: A slotted screwdriver is used to tighten the steel grub screw, locking the clamp firmly onto the toggle.

Locking: A padlock (isolation padlock) is inserted through the designated hole in the device. The hasp of the padlock prevents the screw from being loosened and physically blocks the toggle from being moved to the “on” position.
